ABOUT ME

My name is Clint, and I'm currently attending Salt Lake Community College as a student of the arts, working to a degree in Graphic Arts with emphasis in communications and writing, I am also working towards Illustration and Animation. I also currently work completing illustrations for several professional entities in the Salt Lake area.

I was born and raised in Utah. While I have traveled around some and lived in different states, Utah is still home for me. I love the mountains and the changes in our seasons. I like the diversity we have; it offers a creative environment to live and grow.

I'm not sure what the end goal is entirely or what the total outcome will be. Though one thing is for sure, even if the destination isn't clear... I have confidence in success, because I'm dedicated to ensuring that success, and I know that with some hard work and extra effort, great things can be achieved through creativity.

Overall Goal

I am working hard to graduate with a degree that can take me into a field of study that I not only enjoy, but can contribute to, whole heartedly, having an enriched wellbeing at the end of each day. I would like to have my work always reflect the individual that I am. Being that no job is worth doing unless you have done it right, accurately, and whole heartedly... then the rewards of your actions can be just and worthy.

Next Step in my Degree Success
Illustration and Animation

Art is a field of limitless possibilities. I use my talents currently in doing freelance work for several clients in the Salt Lake Valley. Designing concepts, signing, props, and other types of projects relating to their demands or needs in art and design. I hope to further branch out into other creative fields, welcoming new challenges and opportunities.

I have an entrepreneurial heart, with a drive and dedication to invent and design. I have always had a desire to create something that would work better, or help with making a task simpler, and with less work or risk to the doer. "Work smarter, not harder"... that mind set has always been with me. So, much like the sketch work done for a big project, I am one to jot down ideas and just play with concepts and sketches. Even create prototypes at times. Simple ideas that come into fruition while others are just waiting for that right moment.

I would also like to make note of my interest in writing and storytelling. Some point I should hope to be able to put some of these ideas into interactive narratives and video game style medias to be enjoyed by various individuals. I have always enjoyed creating stories or epics to unfold, so this is a definite goal and direction for me and my future to hold.

Many directions to head in and different goals and aspirations. It will be a journey and an exciting one at that.... seeing my future unfold, which direction it will continue to head, and what the destination will finally be.
