ABOUT ME

My name is Clint, and I'm a graduate of the arts with a primary focus in Graphic Arts and Illustration, complemented by a strong emphasis in communication and writing. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked professionally with various organizations to complete creative projects—and have also carved out my path as an entrepreneur in the arts.

I was born and raised in Utah, moving around locally and throughout the Western United States, but Utah has always felt like home. I love the mountains, the rhythm of our changing seasons, and the unique diversity of the people, culture, and landscapes. Altogether, it’s the kind of environment that nurtures creativity and personal growth.

I don’t know exactly what the end goal looks like yet—but I do know I’m committed to getting there. Even if the destination isn’t perfectly clear, I’m confident in the journey. Through creativity, hard work, and determination, I believe great things are not only possible, but inevitable.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little about me—and for your interest in my work, my character, and my journey.

ABOUT PRIME DESIGN STUDIOS

Prime Design is a small one-artist creative studio built on experience, passion, versatility, and a relentless drive to bring ideas to life. Founded and run solely by artist and designer Clint Cox, Prime Design specializes in package design, branding, and advertising—with a hands-on, thoughtful approach that ensures each project is unique, purposeful, and impactful.

While Prime Design occasionally collaborates with a small, trusted network of creatives, it is Clint’s vision, skill, and dedication that form the heart of the studio. Every detail, every decision, and every finished piece is the product of his direct involvement and care.

Rooted in values of inclusivity and creative freedom, Prime Design embraces diverse perspectives and believes that powerful design tells a story, builds connection, and stands the test of time.

Branches of the Studio also include:

·         C.X Fine Arts – A fine art extension of the studio, focused on adult and expressive works that explore the raw, vulnerable, and intimate sides of human male creativity.

·         BTB: Burn This Book – A literary imprint and writing studio under the pseudonym Alexandre Wulfgardre also known as A. Wulf, dedicated to bold storytelling and boundary-pushing narratives.

What began as one artist’s pursuit of visual expression has grown into a fully formed creative space—multi-faceted, thoughtful, and unafraid to take risks.

Thanks for visiting. I look forward to creating something that speaks, moves, and lasts.

STUDIO STATEMENT OF ETHICS

Being queer-led and primarily a one-artist studio, Prime Design Studios is guided by a commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and creativity.

I proudly support and uplift diverse voices, taking a clear stance on human and cultural rights—especially within the LGBTQ+ community. I do not tolerate discrimination, hate speech, or intolerance of any kind. Respect is central to my client and collaborator relationships, with clear communication, honored boundaries, and a safe, welcoming environment for all.

You are important to me—whoever you are and however you live.

All work is original and crafted with intention—never plagiarized, never AI-generated without full transparency. AI tools are only used when openly discussed and agreed upon, though often discouraged. Client ideas and materials are always treated with full confidentiality, and trust is a cornerstone of my practice.

I will always maintain honest pricing and ethical standards. I’m open to ideas and fair negotiation but always ensure pricing reflects true value—without upselling or misleading claims.

I also believe in the responsibility of art and design to make a positive impact. I avoid harmful or exploitative projects and promote sustainability wherever possible.

At Prime Design, my collaborators and I aren’t just designing for today—we’re designing with conscience, for the future.

PERSONAL - WHAT YOU GET...

If you’ve taken the time to read and understand the statement above, I ask you to also consider the following—it may help clarify what you're getting when you choose to work with me and other collaborators of the studio.

I’m a competent and dedicated creative professional. My work isn’t free, and neither is my character. Who I am is not negotiable or something that can be compromised. I have tattoos, a few piercings, and yes, I may use language casually that could make a sailor blush at times. But what you get with me is real: an honest, straightforward individual—not a clone, not a product, not a plastic, and definitely not an echo of someone else's expectations.

I won’t disrespect your beliefs, values, or identity—so long as that respect is mutual. I always strive to conduct myself with professionalism and courtesy, but I draw the line at reciprocity. Respect goes both ways. Customer Care is different than Customer Service. Communication is one of my core values. Language can be clumsy, misunderstandings happen, but when they do, I own it and make it right.

I work best when creative freedom is given room to breathe—where ideas can be shared and fostered, collaboration is always welcome, but micromanagement can stifles the best work. Trust me to bring your vision to life, and I’ll bring you everything I’ve got.

I also believe in clear expectations and healthy boundaries. Rush jobs, unpaid “tests,” or vague direction often lead to bad results—and I want to create something we’re both proud of. Contracts and agreements are a must, I honor my commitments. If something doesn’t sit right or you’re unsure, talk to me. I’d rather fix it than fake it.

If you understand this—and it resonates with you—then let’s talk about your creative needs. I’d love to hear what you’re building, what you need, and see how we can work together to bring it to life.
